Summer Opens

The Summer 2012 opens this weekend without much of a bang as the Will Smith starrer Men In Black III returns to the international cinemaplex. Smith, who has not been in theaters since 2008's Seven Pounds, has received good notices for the third installation of MiB3 but at the end of the unspooling his latest flick, it is all about the box office receipts.

Smith one of the top international stars, now faces a slew of teenage and aging teen leading men (Josh Hutcherson, Channing Tatum, Robert Pattinson, Jaden Smith) has lined up a trio of sequels (Hancock 2, Bad Boys 3, I Robot 2) to affirm his status and box office clout.

Only time will tell.
